ALIGNED PILATES STANDS FOR ALL THINGS JOSEPH PILATES

HIS METHOD OF EXERCISE, APPARATUS AND TRAINING 

Aligned Pilates upholds the work of Joseph Pilates. Training is carried out on apparatus that has been designed after the original apparatus invented by Joseph Pilates. Students will train on the reformer, mat, cadillac, wunda chair, high chair, arm chair, spine corrector, small barrel, ladder barrel, and auxiliary apparatus in private, semi-private and independent group workouts.

What is pilates?

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates, along with his wife Clara taught to devoted followers in their New York City studio up until the late 1960's.

Why aligned?

In keeping true with Joseph Pilates' philosophy, order and exercises, you will train those exercises that are good for your body in our fully equipped Pilates studio.

How Do I get Started?

 Learn Joseph Pilates' philosophy; exercises and order; and train like the good old days. Start with private or semi-private lessons moving into independent group workouts in AP Class.

AP (Aligned Pilates) Classes are group workouts where students train their own program independently under the guidance of a teacher. Students learn to focus, develop a flow, and gain a sense of independence as they move around the studio training on all of Joseph Pilates' apparatus.
