A VISION FOR YOU

I believe Joseph Pilates’ method OF Exercise Called Contrology can benefit every person’s body.

I believe Contrology can offer something for every person. But it requires effort, discipline, and honesty about one’s ability—those of us who have been successful practice consistently and keep an open mind. Time is not a threat to us but rather a gift; with lots of practice, we will, in time, experience the change that Joseph Pilates promised ages ago in his book Return To Life & Your Health.

Contrology is not something a person does once in a while or doing the opposite by excessive repetitions ad nauseam to get it in the body quicker; instead, we approach the practice thoughtfully and respect our bodies, allowing the work to settle into us over time rather than trying to rush the process.

When practicing, we must be radically honest about our bodies to have a safe and peaceful workout.

Contrology can create change within us if we learn to relax and take it easy. These exercises are meant to be enjoyable, not frustrating and exhausting to the body.

Wherever you are in your practice, when the body, mind, and breath are in harmony, that is the work of Contrology.

Being alongside you in your journey of learning Joseph Pilates's work is an absolute privilege.
